Video Production Planning and Research

We were split into groups of 3 or 4 and were required to get to know each other. In my group, we had trouble deciding who was going to be in front of the camera and who was going to be behind the camera, so we are going to discuss further and decide these when we decide what our advert should be on. We are considering masks, or not using shots of the face for the person who is going to be doing the acting.

When discussing props and objects that we may be able to bring in, we found that none of the members of our group had anything that could be useful for the advert. In order to tackle this, it was suggested that we could go and buy some supplies, should we need them.

We then had to look at different adverts that we could find that were considered freaky or scary in some way.

The first advert my group looked at was from Little Baby's Ice Cream, titled "This is a Special Time". This advert is really quite unnerving and I don't even want to watch it after the first time we watched it in my group.

The next advert we looked at was from Phones 4U, titled "Missing Our Deals Will Haunt You". Throughout the whole of this advert there is a sense of eeriness and uneasiness. It gives off a bad vibe from the start.

This advert was the final one my group looked at and it was for PlayStation 3. The advert was titled "Baby Doll". While it is a very simple advert, it is rather odd. The moving doll gave me a really freaky feeling.
