Set-up and Shot Annotations

Lesson: 28-09-2015

In this lesson we were focused on taking the pictures that we would be merging together in order to create our final freaky/unique image.

This is the setup that we created in order to take pictures of our subject. In my case, I was required to take pictures of an arm and a eye for the image I hope to recreate.

This is the first picture I took. While I think it went quite well, I feel as though I should have taken the shot from many different angles so that I would have something to compare to later on. I also feel that there was too much lighting on the image once I had taken it. I feel as though I could have asked my model to have her arm at different angles so that I could take more pictures and try them all out when creating my final image.

The second picture I took didn't go very well, I don't think. I couldn't get the camera to focus properly when I kept on trying to make it focus. Even though the image isn't full focused, I feel as though I can use this to my benefit when it comes to editing the image in Photoshop.

If I were to do this task again, I would ensure that I got more than just one shot of each part I needed. I would be sure to ask for help if there was something I could not figure out how to do. Taking pictures of the same parts but in different shots could prove beneficial to me in the end.
